    Default Forced Diplomacy

How do you do it? I’m in my Roman campaign and the Seleucids have gone and done an Alexander, save for Pontus holding on hard in Asia Minor. The problem is, the silly Seleucids have gone wandering on the Steppe, so I wouldn’t mind reigning them back in and giving the Hay or Sarmatia a bit of a boost.

Also, people talk about the desc_strat (sp) being the place to make little tweaks to your game, but how do you access it and where is it located?

    Cheers

Just had a look at that.

Is there no way you can give a settlement to another faction i.e Bactria or the Parthians from another like the Seleucids, without you acting as a middle man?

No, you have give the settlement to yourself and then to the faction you want, so you may be forced to forcing a ceasefire on someone, though if they are along way away use normal diplomacy!

Tip; if you want to help someone I always disband the units you get in the settlement to boost the pop, and destroy any buildings that won't help them and repair any that might.

Be aware FD used alot can cause CTD's, so if possible if you are gifting a settlement use normal diplomacy about 10K cash helps and start with settlemnts that border the other faction.
