I have dispatched invites to Cronos, Greyblades, and Son o'..., who had not previously been pm'd by me. I sent another pm to those invitees who had not yet responded one way or another to my previous pms. I added a "down to the last few" post to my invitation post at the twc.

We are very close, friends, get the chats/pms/armtwisting going.

Skooma Addict sent me a PM asking for permission to join the gameroom. He wants to play Capo III.

He needs to apply for access before I can let him in. (I sent him a PM explaining this)

I sent Imperator Invictus your way, and/or to GH. He is one of my recruits to play Capo III. He is fairly new to the org., and he need permission to post in the gameroom as well. You should be getting his PM soon. Thanks.

So we are 3 short? There are still several Capo veterans that have not shown up. Hopefully they will. Im sure they will be missed if they dont.

Also Seamus, thanks for the balloons, but i hope soon there are more work for Tommy gun rather then balloons!

Okay, we have a good cadre so far. I will start the first phase -- Day One -- approximately 1100am Eastern time (1500 GMT) on Thursday 6 August 2009. Please be aware of the time-zone difference you are coping with and adjust as best as possible. The first day phase will be roughly 24 hours long followed by a 24-36 hour night phase. These phases are left relatively long so that the real play -- behind the scenes -- may begin.

Notes:

1. Keep recruiting! I cannot run all 5 families unless we have 75 members, and some of the "secret" roles are limited unless there are more players than the minimum. More is definitely merrier for Capo.

2. Role PM's will go out beginning Thursday, with a goal of having all such in hand no later than 4pm that Thursday. Note: I WILL accept late recruits up to the end of Day One, but am less likely to add folks after that point because it can alter the flow of the game.

I have to drop out of this..... Very dissapointing.... I was looking forward to this, but I am heading to NYC on wensday and won't be back till friday. Then I leave on sunday and won't be back for a week.

I can't believe I am going to miss Capo.......

I have accepted two new players into the gameroom. Both wants to play Capo III.
One is Skooma Addict and the other had a name starting with Nolan if I am not mistaken.

If this "Nolan" of yours is Nole4694, I'm glad that's taken care of.

Well, I'll say it now: I'm leaving on a camping trip from the 7th to the 15th, without the internet. This means I'll be unavailable for the beginning of the game, but I'll be back and active from then on.

That was a classic Hobbesian trap...I couldn't trust you not to expose me so I went after you first...

I was thinking of asterix and the neanderthal game where I got waxed right off the bat, though I guess I got attack in the capo games early too.
