No, really! A persons first car has got to be of at least the same vintage as the driver, if not older. Otherwise you neither learn to drive properly nor to fix small things on your own.
The fact that he's payed for it himself with money he worked & had the discipline to save toward the purchase, instead of it being a gift, pretty much assures that he'll take care of his baby or pay the consequences.
