I agree. John is a better choice than myself or khaan here. Atheotes, if you vote for johnhughthom, I will do the same. Until then, I dare not take my vote off of khaan merely for self-preservation's sake.

What's wrong with voting to save yourself? I'm the only person I know is innocent. I accept my voting with no reasoning as a reason to vote for me, however it is simply my dislike of the first day round of mafia games that made me do that. We all vote randomly (or on the basis of previous mafia games, or for our "friends") and make up some reason for it not to look suspicious.

At the end of the first day, the crew of the Canis Majoris were undecided as to who sabotaged the ship. Suspicion fell equally on Shinseikhaan and Chaotix. As mandated by the Pizzaguy code, the tied vote required a ninja battle to the death. The fighters chose their weapons and prepared to defend their honor.
Shinseikhaan: I have no wish to fight you, Chaotix-san. Can you not see how desperately johnhughthom tried to avoid his fate? I had the power to destroy you and I chose not to vote for you. This failure belongs to you.
Chaotix: Why do you fear battle? Although I agree that john is suspicious, I had little choice but to vote for you; I would not simply curl up and die.
Shinseikhaan: If you wish to fight me, you will learn very quickly that it is most unwise to do so. It is a shame you will not be alive to remember the lesson.
Chaotix: Enough talk. When your skull is battered like chunky peanut butter, I will no longer have to endure your wit. Now let's fight!
Shinseikhaan dropped to his knees and began to meditate, which caused Chaotix to become impatient. "When I said 'let's fight', I meant now..." said Chaotix. But Shinseikhaan said nothing, and kept his arms outstretched and his eyes closed. "I don't have all day!" he protested, but Khaan would not move. Chaotix turned and looked at the rest of the crew and muttered "is this guy serious?". Suddenly, Chaotix felt a sharp pain in his ear, and heard a soft thunk against the bulkhead behind him. There was a curious sensation of warmth against his neck, and he reached up to feel what had happened, and he felt a nothing except for a chunk of his ear remaining. His looked at his hand, and it was covered with blood.
"I could have killed you already. You must learn to concentrate and be patient." said Shinseikhaan. "All right, that's it. I'm going to have to end you..." said Chaotix, followed by some rather colorful remarks about Khaan's parentage, specifically insinuating that his father was related to his mother, and that she had little say in the matter of his conception. Shinseikhaan's expression remained neutral; he would not be perturbed by mere verbal attacks. He merely replied "No, you!".
Chaotix bared his teeth and pulled out his nunchaku, and began to demonstrate his chuck mastery. The twirling sticks were moving so fast that they were invisible, and he began to approach his opponent. Shiseikhaan remained perfectly still as Chaotix moved closer, eyes closed. Soon, Chaotix was upon him, with his nunchaku spinning very close to Khaan's head, but the master remained in the kneeling position. Chaotix seized the initiative; if Khaan would not defend himself this would be a very short battle. With a flick of his wrist, the next swing was aimed directly at khaan's face, but the master merely leaned back and the spiked metal missed his head by mere inches. The next pass seemed to be headed straight for Khaan, but he rolled his body to the left to avoid the blow. As he moved, he unleashed a low leg sweep, which Chaotix deftly avoided, and a second leg sweep, again missing the mark. Chaotix' movements disrupted the swinging of the nunchaku, and so he moved back to regain his balance. By now Khaan had rolled to his feet and he began unleashing a volley of shuriken towards Chaotix. With Matrix-like agility, Chaotix swung his head back and dodged each thrown metallic weapon, until he dropped completely to the ground and rolled out of the way. As he got up, he saw that Khaan was approaching rapidly, so he leaped into the air and delivered a stunning triple roundhouse kick to Khaan's head, each of the blows missing the mark, and as he landed, Khaan delivered another leg sweep, this time causing Chaotix to fall. And he rolled to safety, he spun around to see Khaan flipping through the air. Chaotix swung his body to the left, and Khaan's foot went straight through the plasticite molded flooring, a blow that would have been lethal. Chaotix swung his nunchaku in retaliation, but Khaan ducked and rolled out of the way, releasing his foot from the gaping hole in the floor.
Khaan's foot had landed precisely where he wanted it to be, breaking open one of the fire suppression gas lines. When he removed his foot, a blast of pressurized gas blew up into Chaotix' face, causing momentary blindness. He moved quickly out of the area and tried to locate his opponent. The room was filling with a thick haze of gas; a billowing cloud behind him, and corridors going in each of the other three directions. He quickly checked down each corridor, but he could not see Khaan. When he turned around again, there was a stabbing pain in his chest. He saw a shuriken sticking out of his chest, impaling him right in the heart. He dropped his nunchaku.
From out of the billowing cloud of fire suppression gas, Khaan flipped and landed squarely in front of his opponent, and delivered a devastating kick to the jaw which snapped his head backward, snapping his neck. Khaan collected the weapon from his chest and the nunchaku from the ground, and went over to a computer console and shut down the fire suppression system. He calmly exited the section and went back to where the others were gathered.

I wonder if there are clues in the write ups...
You cannot add days to life but you can add life to days.
Good match, khaan.
It was very tempting to pick the katana... perhaps I should've done it anyway.
Oh, and excellent write-up, ATPG.

nice write-up ATPG... good way to end the tie.
There was some impressive wifom going on in my head as I tried to figure out which weapon to pick. On the one hand, I thought, "He's gotta pick the katana, everyone loves a katana, so I should pick the nunchaku....." and then I thought "But wait, if I know that everyone loves a katana, then surely he does too, so I should pick the Shurikens to counter the nunchaku he picked to counter the katana...."![]()
