Surrender Accepted!?

Isn't that whats supposed to happen? They surrender, give their word of honor not to return to that region etc etc.

Kind of like in Last of the Mohicans when the English surrender the fort, the French let them march out with the arms and colors under the condition they don't return.

Isn't that what the French did in Spain?

Its funny, I justs had my first surrender the last session; a modest army made entirely of militia waltzed up to the Russian territory just north of Dagestan and managed to get them to give in. Now I know what it does, I wont bother asking again though!
