Two questions

1) Question about Sacred band charge

Well, I've noticed in my games one thing about it: when i charge with my sacred band cavalry- this guys have their lances turned up in the air. When they start with melee, they put lances down: i didn't see any other cavalry charge looking like this. While other cavalry put their lances down few seconds before the clash, SBC clashes with lances up, and put them down too late. Is this some kind of a bug or something?

2) Question about trait

here is my picture:

As you can see, this guy is a governor in a town. But look at his trait: i have a message saying that he is complaining to me for letting him to lose his talents because i've send him away from the city, and he wants a governance: but he is a governor already... Anybody have some ideas?

He wants a bigger settlement to govern.

You're charging from too close by and the unit isn't yet "readied" for the charge, or somesuch. You can tell it is from the soldiers, you know, lowering their lances.

Basically, Doing It Wrong. IIRC there was a "how to use cavalry" thread once, anyone have the link ?

Ok. I will try to reformulate my first question

Sacred band cavalry seems to behave in a strange way. While all other cavalry point their spears at the enemy few seconds before engagement, Sacred band cavalry does not do that. Sacred band cavalry charges with their spears up and put them (the spears) down too late (when melee has already started): i believe their charge suffers because of that.

Yes, anything Small City and up. But alternatively, you could have him in that settlement, and whenever a building is finished there, he will lose the trait. However, it will usually come back. This trait is quite impermanent, so I would not worry about it.

In my experience when you put them in bigger settlements they first revert back to "Supervisor" and then sometime later turn into "Satisfied Supervisors" which is good...
