Should have added, I've given some the "Cartoonify" effect using GIMP (free photoshop like program). I really like the way it looks for wallpaper and such.

Ah, nice - a shot of Ipsos. Those pike units look great when they're all lined up, don't they?

Anti-Aliasing is set to low (2x I think), most of my other settings are high/highest except building detail. Shadows are on, but "Detailed Shadows" is off, glints and reflections and dust are all on as well. 1280x1024 res.

For screenshots, I crank the unit detail to "Very High" as well, so even far off units look great. I turn it back to just "high" for big battles though, or my frame rate gets too low.

Have you tried using Mosaic filters?

Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.

I take screenshots and all I get is a black screen. Pity, I had a great shot of Hetairoi getting owned by charging Scythian Noble cavalry and Drapanai at the moment of impact. Riders flying into the air and everything

Unless you are using fraps, Screenshots with anti aliasing will show as black.

Most of the units and such are so small that it makes everything too blurry looking. For a really close up shot of a single unit it could be neat though.

The pictures are great, and the cartoonify effect makes them look nice and sharp, but it'd be nice to see a few with no effects, or just an increased contrast (always improves pictures ).

I'll look forward to seeing some more (?)
