No need for me to post anything anymore then. Except maybe to add some fuel to the fire: there is no such thing as blasphemy, because the state does not decide who or what is the proper god. More seriously though, the photographer should not get away with this. The lack of respect, and awareness, is nothing less than shocking. I am very sure he did not ask because he knew permission would be refused. He said he knew some people would be offended, but he went ahead anyway.

So, either he meant to offend, or didn't care.

This is a matter of mutual respect, not theology.
