Error message/CTD

I don't know if this is where I should post this, but I'm going to anyway. I get a CTD when fighting battles now. In my GB campaign it happens about every 4th battle. Then in my RTI it has started happening, but at a lower rate. My computer has more than enough juice to run the game and was fine before the last patch. Has anybody else had this type of error message and if you have what did you do to fix it?

Much to my exasperation, this has happened to me many, many, many times too!

In my case battles crash every 3-6 battles. It's really spoiling the game =(

However, I've noticed that drastically reducing your settings helps a little...after I did that the game crashes after 10 battles or so...

But this still doesn't fix the problem now does it?
