Your using the trival script, edit the export_descr_unit.txt in the "sp game edu backup" folder, you can find it in the main EB folder.
Ok thank a lot ^^
Hmm. Maybe this kind of mod has been done for EB, I know it has for Medieval 2 Total War.
Is there any way to lower every unit's upkeep (or whichever option) cost by percentage of the original instead of editing every single unit's values in that file?
I'd like to lower the upkeep particularly a small amount, but I do not feel like going through the entire file to do so.
Has anyone done this, and if not, should I do so, and if I should what would you all like it to be overall?
Say 15%? Less or More?
The upkeep costs of armies are at the high level they are to limit the amount of armies you can have and to prevent the game from becoming too easy. However, if you really want to, you can change the upkeep costs of units. Unfortunately, there is no way to do this in notepad without individually changing each unit's upkeep. You could however change the file to an Excel like format and highlight the whole upkeep collumn and lower it by 10 or 15 percent.
