    SENESHAL REPORT Season 2 (1083)

    Le Trésor Royal:

My King, Dauphin, nobles of the realm. The second season was a surprise on many levels.

Her Highness, Princess Constance was extremely busy again this season. I must commend her for the work she is doing for the realm. She is a credit to her father and to the kingdom as a whole.

With the consent of the King, Prince Louis has married the Spanish Princess Teresa el Valiente. It is clear they regards us highly as we received 3000 florins, trade rights, map information and military access plus a royal alliance between our two kingdoms for a piece of our esteemed Prince's arse.

We have an unintentional rule violation by me regarding ship movement.

Don't take action on the save until I sort it out.

    -EDIT-

Save is now open. Use CDf's latest one.

The ruling by Zim is that the "trip" continues, however I will purchase the extra ship when I land and remove one unit so we have moved only 4 units.

    Happy hunting all.

    Save is back:

(As an OOC note I moved Gontran de Linars out of Toulouse to see if I could scout out what kind of men were in that little Milanese stack nearby, but he couldn't see them either. This accounts for his reduced movement rate.)

Save back - joined the Roi's army

As a note to the Roi, the spy this turn has successfully opened the gates for us. I hope he is rewarded for his good work.

While in general this report contains good news for France, but there is one troubling bit. It appears our most noble Seneschal has decided to send troops instead of a diplomat across the Channel. I don't know how the invasion of the isles will satisfy edict 1.8.1.

I do however, commend his hearty seafaring skills. To fit so many men at arms in such a small fleet is remarkable. Perhaps we can use his skills in moving people from a distant location. Say, Africa, for example.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.
