SENESHAL REPORT Season 8 (1092)

Le Trésor Royal:

My King, Dauphin, nobles of the realm.

It was a busy year for diplomacy.

Firstly we managed to gain some head way with the stubborn Scots. They have accepted a trade agreement with some florins added but refused an alliance with an additional sweetener. I will continue to attempt to fulfill the edict.

In Portugal we managed to secure and alliance and trade rights but just failed to secure military access.

I will attempt again to fulfill the requirements next season.

As such our standing with Portugal and Spain increased as a result.

Her Highness Princess Constance was accosted by yet another suitor. I leave it to her father to remove this annoyance. I must also formally reiterate here in the Seneschals report that Her Highness seems to have gone missing. All inquiries to her whereabouts in Rome have been met with no success. The Pope himself has sent his concerns to the Seneschals office.

I'm pleased to provide the following construction beginning:

Antwerp: Roads
Marseilles: Roads
Bruges: Grain Exchange

The following construction projects were completed this season:

It looks like the English have decided that the secret war is to begin.

That and another key indicator is the situation around Dublin as an example of their strength and intentions. I will be make a quick departure from Ireland in the coming season as the situation is beyond our resources.

The Holy Roman Empire has besieging Staufen. I am not even sure we can do anything about it.

We have become the largest kingdom in the known world.

Declined the adoption offer.

Philippe has rode out to Frankfurt to demand the liberation of his daughter from the Kaiser himself.

The Order knights and Philippe's infantry have been left behind at the Rhine Ford to prevent any further agressive move by the Germans.

One (or two) of the Order knights could leave the army and deal with the small German army in northern Flanders, with my permission.

The suitor of Constance has been sent back to his home, as I found him unwilling to put his life at risk to go and fetch her back from the German eagle's talons.

Can anyone disprove my hypothesis that a character with 100% movement points at the end of a turn is more susceptible to acquiring negative traits? Maybe I'm confusing this with MTW.
