Perhaps CA tried to go for a time period where they could argue they just DOW everyone.

That's what it sounds like N: TW is supposed to be...One of the articles said something to the extent that, because Napoleon is is General, and not a ruler. You will only have to focus on the fighting, without any of Political wheelings and dealings to get in your way.

There isn't any diplomacy when its one bloc of doods fighting another bloc doods.
Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.
