De inimico non loquaris sed cogitas-Do not wish ill for your enemy, plan it.
Well, I got RTW just this summer through Steam. I've wanted it for a while but didn't have a computer that could handle these games until recently. But better late than never. I don't regret buying it, especially since I got Vanilla, BI, and Alexander all for $9.99.
And I actually found out about EB through Wikipedia's article of RTW, lol. They mentioned RTR but based on the description EB sounded a lot cooler and had more attention to detail and historical accuracy, so I had to go with it.
First of all: Hi, I'm pretty new to the forums, been lurking around a little, but figured I could post too :)
My brother introduced me to the game almost two years ago. I got hooked, hadn't played games for a long time, but got hooked and bought it along with BI. After some talks with friends who I knew had played the game too, I was interested in trying out some mods. One friend recommended RTR and Europa Barbaroum. Looked it up on Wiki too, also thought EB sounded cooler, downloaded it and never tried out RTR.
It is really a great mod and made it impossible for me to return to Vanilla.
I loved Shogun TW, played it time and again.
So finally I bought one of its successors, which was RTW.
After completing the game, I searched for a mod that would provide a bigger world. I found mundus magnus, which mentioned EB in its readme.
*Bump*
RTW - RTR - EB guy here too. My very first downloaded mod was SPQR, but I quickly ditched it for RTR, and then stopped playing vanilla altogether. Then I found EB, has been my only RTW mod ever since, despite my occasional Roma Surrectum attempts.
