    but i too am trying to ween myself away, like removing my membership from the backroom. my doctor told me my stress has gone up since around the time i joined the backroom, but i dont know if thats the main reason why i was more stressed out.

    I think I've "left" twice now? But it's almost akin to those famous last words of "I'll never touch a drop of drink again!". I always end up back here, simply because there is no other online forum like the .org. A hiatus is a good thing though if you're getting burnt out.
