    Default Crash when loading

The original game worked fine but when i downloaded and installed the patch it always crashes when i load it up. It says:

    Error loading Mount databace.

Script Error in eb/data/descr_mount.txt, at line 105, column1.

Could not find battle model for mount 'camel'.

I have tried reinstalling and even re dowloading and all the fixes from the sticky. Thanks for any help.

I believe you have installed in the wrong directory, or installed a botched submod. Try the following.

    1. Have you fixed the shortcut? It's detailed in the frequent issues.
    2. Try the quick solutions listed in the validation post which you haven't already.
    3. Run a validation and post the results here so we can interpret them. If you get no output, download the updated validation and run that.

Fixed the shortcut with no effect. Nothing shows when i run a valedation check although i downloaded the new one and its not installed in program files but on my desktop. I just get a blank notepad. I've tried all other fixes i think.

Worth uninstalling and just playing the older version un patched you think?

The new one should definitely be able to show results. Are you sure there is no error message in the DOS window (the black one with text when you run it)?

I would not use the older version. If you install it correctly, there should be no problem looking anything like what you describe, so I believe you've done something wrong.

Well i dont see how i could have installed it wrong as i followed the guide to the letter not once not twice but 3 times and re downloaded the patch from a different mirror incase it was corrupted.

Ok i think there is an error (in the validation check in the black and white bit). says (access is denied) at one point. Is this still the old one and the new version of validation check didnt install properly? Anyway i can check this?

When you get the new one, you need to place it in your RTW folder. Then you run the validateInstall.bat file (you may not have the .bat part showing).
