Game Freezing

I use cheats... I use alot of cheats. When i first start a campain everything rolls fine for 15-20 turns but once i've entered a number of cheats ( and by that i mean alot of cheats) my computer starts to freeze up. Does this happen to anyone else?

I had it happen once,when I used the vindaloo and madras cheats to generate many stacks of elephants to generate many stacks of elephants to combat the timurids.The battle went fine but the game began to freeze after the battle had finished..

I do not know if this will help since I do not use cheats --

Save the game and reload from file before using the cheats. Then save, reload, and play the game normally. I suspect that some game freezes are the result on introducing too much information between the end of turns that clear memory. Then, I may be really really wrong.
