Yes I have a French version for RTW

I used to play EB on my old computer, 1.0 version, same RTW French CD and under XP it worked perfectly.
I tried to add -nm to the shortcut for no avail

Now what should I do?

is 1.0 still available somewhere?

You can try to install RTW in the English lagnuage (if that is possible with your copy of RTW).

As Bovi said, eventually would that help (in any case, copy your existent version to a temporaly place).

I've been intending to put up the English version files on our FTP, but I'm not quite sure if that would be legal. I'm inclined to believe it's legal, firstly because they can't be used without having the game in the first place, and secondly because Xenophonia has not been in any trouble for redistributing files from other language versions.

I guess you've left a long time ago, but there are more suggestions in the validation post.
