Recruiting question

After the death of the mp, i tried the first time the campaign. I choose the Koinon Hellenon on very hard and played some dozens of hours. I still can only recruit this skirmish cavalry, leavy hoplits, akonistai, this light special hoplites and slingers while the AI sends me loads of armies with units like medium pike infantery, greek medium cavalry, archers, etc. I even built several barracks in which decription is to read that your able to recruit toxotais, classical hoplites, thuereophai, etc. but i can't. Has anyone ideas ?

I forgot to activate the script - i just enabled it in my last 2 turns. Which uses has this script ? Does it influence the AI ?

AI factions don't get money and no seasons I think. Also Eleuthoroi don't get some uber scripted characters. Also no reforms. I'm really not sure. You tell me. I always have mine on.

My guess is you are playing your campaign with the mp EDU. Please start your EB with single player if you use the trivial script. If you don't, manually copy the Export_Descr_Units.txt from the folder sp game edu backup into your EB/Data.

AS for the script, take a look at EBBS.txt to give you an idea...

Yes im playing it indeed with the mp edu. Thanks ! So if i just put in the right EDU i can continue playing campaing with beeing able to recruit more units ?

Yes, though it can be all your scripted events will happen a few years later, since you've been playing without putting the script on.

Awhh i replaced the backup Sp Edu with the mp on....I guess reinstall is know the only solution but anyway thanks again :)

Maybe someone can email you a new edu.txt. Reinstall is a biatch. Mine is modded beyond repair I am afraid - so I cant.

Many thanks but ive already reinstalled. But it just took me 2 minutes, because reinstalling the patch 1.2 is enough. Even didn't have to delete the game.
