While the Political Compass stickied is convinient, it also asks a lot of weird questions (Such as if you thought beating up your kids is a good decision). Which doesn't really have much to do with politics, in my opinion.
I just found this political compass which is, while much more simplified, its questions have more pertinence from a political point of view. After you take the test, besides giving your place in their political compass, it also gives you which system and ideology do you support, and this test got it spot on. It also lists the recent American presidents and recent American presidential candidates that match the most with your position in the political compass. Finally, it compares your score with everybody else who has taken the test, and tells you your position compared to the rest.
