Canada would like to announce that it is selling premier wood products! Fine dining tables for the Russian Prime Minister? Carved chairs for the American President? Termites eating the "Fragile, Do Not Break" Boxes for your nuclear weapons?

Fear not! Canada has the best buy wood products stemming from quality trees. Remember! All you need is money...

    NEWS REPORT:

Chairman Centurion1 has been found burning the words "NATO PWNZ j00" with Naplam on the Indian First Ministers front garden. When questioned, Chairman Centurion1 was quoted "I eat at McDonalds like a good capitalist dog, I so fat see? I watch TV all day and like fast cars, Asia really sucks" in a fake American accent. Indian officials desposited Chairman Centurion1 on the border, unconvinced and feeling sorry for him. Indian first minister Zim was quoted as saying "Desperate times bring desperate measures, you really have to feel sorry for the state of China at the moment."

    I rather liked the pic.

Looks like we're rapidly closing on the starting year of the game.

we need to figure out who is actually playing this. Plus a few more players to get us back to full numbers would not be to bad. See what I can do.

Ignoramus being Brazil is unfortunatly bad for him as he'll stand in my way to global domination as being a former colony. That is if I join, obviously. :P

Russia wishes to apologize to the other nations. Vast amounts of paperwork cropped up as we are moving our offices from Leningrand back to Moscow. The Premiere will respond to each of you shortly.

I be honest, what this game sort of needs is more factions, powers and far far less status quo. Greyblades might hate it, but alternative history then basically almost replicating 1992 would be more interesting and opening up many new powers to new players, making the game a successor to the previous.

    At the moment, it is:

8 players versus 2 players versus 2 players versus 1.

    They will team-up, of course

China, India and Russia would make for some killer troop numbers, I would think

    Ouch, that is true.

But Russia and China.. working together with India?

It's too two-sided without making much sense.

then why don't we scrap the alliances all out no nato, no warsaw, no nap. who knows what would happen then.

Or give more countries to the other countries. Like get rid of some nations like portugal and make them non-affiliated, or make someone like brazil into iran, and add in the up and coming powers like Australia, etc. however, greyblades doesn't want any more players or anymore role pms to write. however, he could add in some players to like warsaw or nap that are not taken this round.

I think ignoramus, blackadder, and caius do not have countries yet, but either participated last time or showed interest. give them like iran, poland, somalia, etc.

    OFF GAME-

I would rather not but i mean what choice do we have if it is nato vs. the world. Really no other option and then it just becomes 2 on 2 play with the 3 superpowers with an advantage. at least last round we mixed it up a little with the nap and added a third wheel. and i respect ylc for at least trying to make a European power center.

Thats up to the players. I think I'm starting to tire of this game, but I'm not going to quit, as of this moment the shackels are off, there wont be any politicians being killed automatically, no uprisings, no overrulements by congress/parliment/whatever and no nuclear restrictions. You want to play this game the way you want it go ahead I'm not going to stop you, If that includes nuking the world into slag thats your perogotive but either way there wont be anymore asspulls on my part to keep the game from turning into a nukefest... Well apart from one thing NATO members will have to declare Defcom 1 a turn earlier than launch if only to let the world kiss thier backsides goodbye.

Now if you dont mind I'm going to get the map updated find a way to pull Polands Role PM together and then we can start this sucker.

greyblades none of this was supposed to be any sort of questioning of your game. Personally i think the nuclear restrictions are great. Please keep those. And you are right, i would rather not be allied with russia and india anyway. Really there is nothing to change, just keep it the way it is.

Uh actually this for myself I was kinda getting bored with this game before the reboot so I'm kicking the restictions, either the game will get interesting as you lot start trying to keep eachother from pushing the button or the game ends as the world burns, either way I dont feel like I'm screwing everyone out of a conclusion just because I'm bored.

I had an idea for a game similar to this, which would be done after this game. I haven't decided on the time period (either middle ages style or futuristic) where you can either be a Ruler/Empire Builder, or you can be either a Hero/(General/Warband).

The latter work like mercanies, which can be hired out by the Ruler/(Empire builder) to help them do things such as acquire land/resource points for them and other things.

Through work, these can get more powerful or weaker as time passes, it is sort of a mixture of two games in one, and you can pick what you want your "end goal" to be.

It's a little early to talk of some grand everyone outside of NATO alliance. If we got some players playing countries outside of NATO (and there are plenty just among those with role pms already) we could have a world with three or more sides easily. I won't lie, I sent a pm to Russia as did many of the other players here I'm sure, but that doesn't mean I have an alliance with them, or that they want one (and YLC is a great player for having his own plans, and I'm sure he will surprise all of us in the new game.).

I tried to grab some players from one of my games, and CDF is going to check with a few people. Let's see how many players join before deciding that any side is overpowered...
