Army Chaplains have to go through all the same basic combat training as everyone else, BCT, OCS, PLDC or whatever route they choose. So in theory, they are "trained to fight," as well, they just aren't supposed to fight (they get an armed escort: the covted chaplains assistant MOS) and are considered noncombatants, for various ethical and international reasons (none of which, I might add, keeps them from getting killed or executed if captured by our wonderful enemies)

The real question about the Battle Rabbis is: Do they get any cool spells? Any HOTS or DOTS or BUFFS. AND CAN THEYS REZ?
