    Is it compatible or not? Ive been away from this game for nearly two years.

    Yes it is, but don't install it under Program Files. It needs to be installed in the "C" drive (or main drive). Also, you need a separate video card, not one of those imbed motherboard things.

    Iv just come back to rome after about a year and im using vista. I think its installed under program files as well. Well thats where the folder is located.

    Same here St Jimmy, it is exactly the same as XP only you need permission to edit the game files.

    It's pretty easy to make the game files moddable. My method is as follows:

    Left-click on a RTW short-cut (doesn't matter which one) and click "Open File Location".
    After that, just left-click the data folders, enter "Properties", select the "Security" tab, then select "edit" next to where it says "To change permissions, click edit", check the empty boxes in the window below it for the various user types (admin, system, user, etc.), click "apply" at the bottom of the window, and you're done.
