Im playing a campaign as the Casse on VH/VH as an observer campaign. Due to their abominable lack of starting funds and armies to disband, i need some cash. I know the cheat is add_money but what is the faction name?

Huh, it's usually fairly easy to sit back with the Casse if you disband their starting armies. Did you disband the starting ships as well? Those suck up a lot of cash.
K, they start with 4 units + the 3 generals, and 1 boat and yet they are still massively in debt? How the hell does that even work??
EDIT another question. Say i wanted to give a different faction cash, how do i do that? Example would be i want to actually see a ******** Grey Death for once instead of having to fight the Yellow Fever for the 1 billionth time.

With Casse, you just train up 2or3 slingers , send your diplomat to Sweboz (they pay about 5k for Alliance), and invade Bratosporios. Take Bagacos as well and spend your Sweboz money on ports, money problem solved very quickly.
Thats what I did, was much more lucrative than taking British mainland and you can train Milnaht and Batacorii there which are the 2 best line units IMO.
Remember to disband the ship as soon as you dont need it cos its like 800/turn, however you wont find another naval port until either southern Ireland or Darioritum (Amorica/NW Gaul)

Actually there's a military port in Ictis, but thats besides the point. Inst there like a scripted invasion of Rebels about 5-20 turns into the game if you dont attack them? If so doesnt that mean that you have to wait around a while before u cans tart disbanding military units?
Thats something i dont get. The Casse pretty much have the whole island to themselves and yet they one of the toughest starting out factions in the game, for me at least.
Also what the original script name of the Seleukids so i can give them money so they can beat the piss outta the Ptolemies, whom i hate even more than the Romans? Or better yet does any1 have a list of the Original name --> EB name faction list?![]()

IIRC the rebels only attack if you build roads in Camulosadae, if you zip straight across to Bratosporios , by the time you've taken it and Bagacos and thus got positive cashflow going, and zipped back home and disbanded your ship, the Rebels will still be scratching their bums thinking about it. I was back home on about the 5th or 6th turn.
The Rebels that wander around and attack if you build roads are only 4 Balroae (dam scots raiders lol) , you dont need your whole starting army to beat them though their javelins can do some big damage, and the other rebels are Welsh guys that dont move much unless you attack Ictis.
Whats an Observer campaign?

One where u play as a faction thats isolated from the AI and you do nothing but observe how that AI fights amongst itself and the "natural" expansion that its empires take. I know that sounds like a VERY boring prospect and concept but it is fun to watch the AI mess around with itself and learn what are the most likely Empires that you will be facing when you play for real. Besides Yellow Fever i mean.

Here ya go:
For future reference, you can also find this info in either the 'expanded_bi.txt' or the 'shared.txt' files inside your EB/Data/text/ folder.¬ Faction Names
{ROMANS_JULII} Arche Seleukeia
{ROMANS_BRUTII} Baktria
{ROMANS_SCIPII} Metz Hayk'
{SABA} As'Sab'yn wal'Jau
{MACEDON} Pergamon
{EGYPT} Safot Softim biQarthadast
{SELEUCID} Senatus Populusque Romanus
{CARTHAGE} Kappadokia
{PARTHIA} Pahlava
{PONTUS} Saka Rauka
{GAULS} Aedui

{GREEK_CITIES} Koinon Hellenon
{NUMIDIA} Ptolemaioi
{SCYTHIA} Arverni
{SPAIN} Lusotana
{THRACE} Epeiros
{SLAVE} Eleutheroi
Ok, well Casse never move from Britannia for a long time, if ever so I guess that rules out my suggestion. Usually Sweboz go sniffing around Bagacos and Aedui take Bratosporios fairly quickly.
This is more a strategy question VH/VH might be intense but it's still possible to make money.
What I usually do is take on settlement, enslave, and disband and hold the rebels don't attack until I have enough infrastructure to support a good army.
Sorry ignore anything I said, I use Med battle difficulty, blitzing both Belgae cities with starting army + 2 slingers sounds near impossible on VH
