Tile of death and whatever is that palace model bug might still be there. This is likely true for the palace. What I basically did was shrink the lake/lagoon so now there is enough room for multiple armies to fight a sally battle there. It's only been tested as far as settlement view and ending a turn but it looks good on paper. The lake is now further down south away from coastline. There's no water south of city if you fight a siege battle. Note: there's some jaggy cliffs sout of city if you fight siege. Some of you might like em. I don't like em but I don't how to get rid of em. Maybe that's what roughness.tga really means?
Anyway, go to /EB/DATA/WORLDS/MAPS/BASE
Make backups of the following:
map_ground_types.tga
map_regions.tga
map_heights.tga
map_climates.tga
map.rwm
also
corrected_regions.tga (though I'm not sure if you need to but just play safe).
Once you've done that, paste the new files you just downloaded and delete map.rwm. Run game without trivial script. It will generate a new map.rwm for you.
I've also included a different version of the map. This, in addition to Alexandreia fix, replaces the Sequoia trees (giant trees) with highland and the regular orange forests. It also reduces (smoothen) some heights of some tiles, notably that settlement in Rhaetia where you could shoot arrows from front of walls all the way to the red lines. It still has elevation but not steep slopes where only goats or Alpine-horn blowers go to shoot Ricola commercial.
Download only the Alexandreia one if you just want that lagoon fix there. DL the other for extra bits.
