    Default Chremonidean War

What role, if any, did Pylos, Messene, Megalopolis, and Argos play in this war?

Tegea, Mantinea, Orchomenos, and Elis also allied with Athens, but prior to 268 BC were they controlled by Macedon? Was Argos under Macedonian control? I know Elis had gotten it's independence a few years before the war.

Did any cities north of Attica participate in the League?

My knowledge of the war is a little sketchy, but I seem to remember reading that the cities of the Aetolian League were neutral but supported Athens and Sparta. I'm pretty sure that Megalopolis was pro-Macedonian since Akratatos died attacking it. Not sure about the rest though.

Yep, captain obvious really FAILED this time

Back on topic, it really seems that the Chremonidian war isn't very well covered on any book or website i have read. Henceforth it would really take an expert to answered such a particular question

From what I know, and I'm by no means an expert, Aetolians were supporting Macedonia as there was an Aetolian attack on Peloponnese in 241 which was supposed to be repelled by the Spartans with king Agis IV and Achean league. The only thing I know about Megalopolis and Argos is that in 250bc, the pro-Macedonian tyrant of Megalopolis was killed (this probably means that the city joined the enemies of Macedonia) and in the same year Macedonians managed to bring Argos into their sphere of influence.

P.S. Actually, after I've checked the dates, it seems that the events I've mentioned happened after the Chremonidean War (267-261). I can't give you much info on this matter, but the Russian wiki claims that both Megalopolis and Argos supported Antigonus II.
