Has anyone else noticed light infantry shooting at nothing? They start shooting in one direction and even after the enemy leaves, they keep shooting?

Has anyone else noticed light infantry shooting at nothing? They start shooting in one direction and even after the enemy leaves, they keep shooting?

I haven't gotten the advanced light infantry yet, but the starting French light infantry (courreurs de bois) seem quite efficient.Originally Posted by antisocialmunky

They have been doing that for a long time. I think I saw one of my light dragoons doing the same thing but there may have been an enemy I didn’t see.
I have not seen them yet in 1.5 from a fresh start.

I was playing a single player battle.

Well... no way to miss this bug now, when each company has an officer that yells "aiiiim! fiiiree!" for every shot. Have several companies in line and platoon fire already researched and you won't hear anything else :-)
