Default 1.5 visual examples of AI and diplomacy "brilliance"

Let's see, how many we can come up with. Pardon my sarcasm please.

Example 1: the "fixed" diplomacy of 1.5. Background: about in turn 4, France declares war on the Ottomans (me). Some 20 turns later the French decide to offer me peace in exchange for... ARMENIA. Right, at this point, I have sunk 5 French fleets and there are no Frenchmen/French-seamen anywhere on the Ottoman horizons. I guess, that's the CA's idea of how to fix the diplomacy.

Example 2: the fixed BAI of 1.5. My Serbian border guard outfit composed mostly of semenis and janissaries was assaulted by an Austrian force composed of about 50/50 Provincial cavalry + Hungarian Grenadiers. I figured, I had no chance against them in the open field and camped on a woody hillside. Guess what did the AI do first-hand? It charged it's cavalry (piecemeal) uphill into the woods swarming with Ottoman infantry. What you see in the pic is the last Austrian cavalry unit committing the kamikaze charge Funny, at this point (no AI's cavalry left), the game "chance calculator" was still showing close to 50/50 chance for me versus the Austrians.

Please feel free to post your own examples of AI's "brilliance".

The CAI is definitely on the loop again.

I try to get a trade agreement from a country, any country, and they shoot back with something like:
"Oh, we've got a better idea. A trade agreement, an alliance, you give us Jamaica and Scotland, and we'll give you Corsica! Isn't that a grand idea?"

And then will refuse to alter the deal in any way. Apparently the concept 'negotiation' still evades the AI, as does the concept of 'do not want', as in:

I will not want it, Sam I Am.
I would not sign it in Ireland.
I would not sign it with Sweden.
I will not sign it for Jamaica.
I will not sign it for Sicily.
I will not sign in France or Belgium.
    I will not sign anywhere.
I do not want an alliance, Sam I Am.
I do not like you, Sam I Am.

Rigid diplomacy is now a HUGE problem.

That is because they want money from you, since you got no money, they will take a province instead.

Pretty smart actually, unfortunately, many players aren't "getting it".

The AI is more willing to talk about diplomacy, but it's still unbelievably stubborn. In order to get Flanders from the Spanish, I had to give them several techs + that island south of india + 20000 gold. To try and get tech from the marathas, I offered plug bayonets and a few navy techs in return for measuring tools. They decided that they wanted Half of my Caribbean islands in return for it, as well as 10k. It can't be a money issue; I was at over 30k at the time

Well (and just thinking out loud here) . . . if you already had Flanders, what would it take for the Spanish to buy it back from you?

They'll try to trade Cuba for it.
