    I am wondering what some of the most influential poleis in the Classical age were according to the community. So aside from the main Poleis, such as Athens Argos etc. what are the lesser states? Such as Larissa, Halicrnassus etc., I'm wondering if you can help broaden the list

    Tradewise, probably Rhodes. Then there's Corinth, Thermon, Byzantium...
