Well, that is making it more complex... Not literal? How much of the Bible is "not literal"? Where do we stop?

Of course, even the creationists do it all the time... What happened to the Old Testament Laws - when creationists love to maintain that all parts of the Bible matter, including the Old Testament? Or the New Testament idea that you have to give up your earthly wealth to be saved? Pick n' choose

This has long left the original topic behind, and whilst there are some well-argued posts developing, there are also some rather distasteful trolls peeking from beneath their bridges.
