Are you kidding me? I think I've paid over 400$ on multiple copies of the TW games.

What I enjoy is that they still sell the normal copy of E:TW for $99.95 in store, yet if you buy that, you get SF and every other one as well...

I read this is exclusive to Austrailia and New Zealand which is a shame.

    Even so, my point is:

Oh and STW and MTW aren't supported anymore (and don't work on some (most?) newer computers) so there selling an anthology that won't work for 2/5th of the content.

I hope it's not true. As a collector fanboy (shame on me but TW is the only series I've played from start to the last game) who owns every thing product I'll still buy it just to have it, even if I probably won't play it.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

At least for germany it is announced for the end of this year. But i think if it comes out here it will be published all across europe, too.

Hey Pever, you from Aussieland too? interesting box I must say, although I'm not getting it, 100 bucks, paid that for the special forces edition of empire which turned out to not be the collectors edition anyway, that NTW stuff just speaks of moneygrabbing, I'm tired of these exclusives, I have an original Ultima 7 box, from 1990. It came with the game, a cloth map, and a small plasticy medallion, and manual of course all printed, in a very nice box, no exclusive units, If I'm buying a game I want the whole thing, not everyone has 1000 dollars to spend on total war to make sure they have everything, not impressed, a VERY good deal for someone who has never bought a total war game before and you could certainly recommend it to them, but still, amazing! I suppose these things have to come out though, thats what everyone gets for preordering! lol just wait 6 months and buy all of them at once, oh well thats the luck of the draw.

    Indeed it is.

I'm up in sunny queensland, as are Warluster and sapi. Neither of them post too much anymore.

NSW is home to CountArach and Rythmic (now Pyschonaut).

    Vic has Captain Blackadder.

WA has a few, but I can't remember any usernames right now

SA...well theres you and Curry Wurry.

Aside from that list of active and prominant aussies, no one else interested in these 'exclusive' items?

Probably another unit. Single, unit. Reskinned.

100 Aussie Bucks...that’s €61.35 & $91.45 or 56.59 Pounds which is more than most of us paid for the SF Edition of ETW.

It might be nice to have Shogun and MTW updated to work on my machine but I don’t know that it is worth that much.

yes, computer games are OBSCENELY expensive in australia... no where else is charged as much as us, and yes we like complaining aboutit as much as possible too lol

100 dollars is the standard price of a new game here unless its a collectors edition, so that would be like buying a new game which isn't too bad. Although rethinking the issue I'm suprised they didn't wait until 6 months after NTW...

Import from the UK. Much, much cheaper.

Actually, I very strongly doubt that they did. In fact, I'd bet money that they didn't.

CA/Sega has been selling the Gold/Eras edition of STW and MTW for years now, but without bothering to make either one compatible with newer hardware. (Trust me, the number one complaint I see from people regarding these two games is that they can't get them to run on their modern PC's, with video cards and/or video drivers often being the main culprit.) Why would they invest the resources do do so now?

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
That was a rhetorical question. Answer: They wouldn't.

Well, since I can practically guarantee that neither game will run on your machine anyway, you're better off just saving your money. Seriously.

Wow, I thought they were USA $'s for a second and was like... And then I realized it was Aussie $'s... but then I realized that the yare almost even after American currency tanked... And then I face palmed myself that the publishers never update their pricings to reflect actual exchange rates *facepalm*.

One thing I have to say about leaving Australia, is that computer games are much, much cheaper in nearly every other part of the world.

And for the life of me, I have absolutely no idea why that should be so.

    Freight. Because is sooo expensive.

Ignore the fact I can buy and ship a game for half the price it is in stores.
