CTDs

I am getting several seemingly random CTDs based around one of my saves. I had saved it before one of my minor battles as Egypt against the attacking Cyrenians, and it crashed while loading the battle. I started up EB again, and it crashed while loading EB. This was a while ago. Today I tried again to fight the battle, and the same happened. A CTD and then a CTD loading EB. I can load it fine after that, but I would have to autoresolve the battle, and I dont want to. In a test I did autoresolve it (and lost) and then rushed a general to the exact spot of the battle and was able to fight that. So apparently its random. Im just worried it may happen again at some other point in the campaign and that would really suck.

As a note I have several sub mods for EB and a good 20 other mods in the same RTW folder. But they've never been a problem before.

Now almost everything I do results in CTD. Im thinking about reinstalling Rome itself.

Have you downloaded the fixes?
Also what version are you playing?

1.2 and I think I downloaded the fixes. Its been too long too recall for sure.

As a note I have several sub mods for EB and a good 20 other mods in the same RTW folder. But they've never been a problem before.

You have a high chance, that many submods will interfere with eachother, also the better option is to install every mod for RTW with a new copy of vanilla RTW.

BTW: If you want to recreate a battle you fought and won and then it's CTD'ing, you can open the console and type "auto_win attacker" or "auto_win defender".

If you recieve now CTD's at anytime, a new installation would be the first option, try to keep all other mods out of your EB-folder.
