Thread: Baby Jesus

  1. #1

    Default Baby Jesus

Sex outside of holy matrimony makes baby jesus sad and condemns you to hellfire for all eternity or possibly even longer.
    2 points

    Because of course.....

    Context?
I suppose its upsetting a fundamentalist talking about pre-marital sex by taking a fundamentalist approach to pre-marital sex.

Ya got off light. In my day, I'd've 86'd ya for a month for pushing that particular envelope outside the backroom. Be grateful our Mod crew are a forgiving, accommodating bunch.

Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.

While that's not a bad point, it's debatable (you can interprete the bible so that sex is actually an act of marriage) and as has been said the Frontroom is not the place to bring it up I guess. You're not the first to find out that Lemur is wise, forgiving and good-looking though.

    Odd. I received a 0-pointer for worst.

I'm sure this would be quite acceptable in the backroom, eh?

Now that is interesting, I thought the bans were automatic.
So this is just a frontroom mod upset that I used his area to ridicule a "fundamentalist" who is about as Christian as bhuddas toe nail.
Thats OK then, I just thought the warning points system was broken and Lemur had fixed it.

If it makes you feel any better Tribesy, I got a feeling that if anyone on this board said a similar thing about Islam in the Frontroom they would get the big one for a while. Arguing religion in a board where people don't want to here about it is just looking for trouble. A lot of people don't ask for Backroom access because they don't wanna hear things like that. Did you thing that you could just make a provocative comment like that and everyone ignore it? Of course not, such a comment would start a huge debate/argument, which should not be in the Frontroom. Stop whining, you deserved it.

Stay away from the Frontroom I say. It's a tyranny for our own good.

When is he coming back. The backroom is getting boring.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

I presumed "Backroom WT" = shut a topic up.

I can't access the Backroom WT, but for some reason, can access recently replied.

Actually looks like this has been changed. However, I can't edit my posts.

I really hated junior membership. I sometimes re-edit posts to re-word things, or possibly fix mistakes and when I couldn't do that, it just made me want to cry as I looked foolish. :p

My first infraction point was for saying someone had bad taste in games for not liking StarCraft. Good times...

My first infraction point was by Lemur for accidently breaking a rule, to make it worse, I didn't even want to make that post in the first place. So getting an infraction for something I didn't even want to post, was a double whammy.

I still love Lemur though, he has a special place in my heart.

I think Beriut busted me the very first time. After that its been mostly Banquo's Ghost and a few others.

I would say 90% of mine are from BG.

Mostly because I can't stay focused and want attention.

It hurts my feelings when he doesn't respond to my rebuttals.

"You're wrong" is a sound arguement here!

    When does Tribes come back?

I grow weary of a vanilla backroom with no personal attacks.

Yup, got my first point from the merciless tree-killer as well. When I wrote him an apology, he couldn't even remember what he'd given me the point for. Oh, the shame of being ignored.
