I do get your point however.
But then, wouldn't it be reasonable to, well, be able to have the same insight to the state, as the state has to you. Or reversible, claim that the state should not have more insight into your private life as you have to the state.
I have no problem with the state keeping secrets from me, if I am allowed to let my private life be a secret from the state.
(as to where freemasons and jews comes into this, I am still clueless).
