You can get just 2 points in the first scenario if the ninja isn't lynched--the extra two are a bonus of sorts.
It seems to me that this system will automatically tell us if we voted for a ninja. If you get 1 or 2 points after a day phase, you know that the person you voted for was a ninja. Is that how it works? If so, I'm concerned about this being exploited by an intentionally dispersed voting pattern.
