We all have separate treaties outside of the alliance, that we honor just as vigorously as the alliance itself. Thats all I really have to say that could placate you.


Just to recap King James is staying Neutral in any current conflicts going on in Europe. The Franco/Swiss conflict hits us especially hard, as we had wished to remain friendly with both.... So we are remaining neutral, which we hope does not irritate either side....

Although we are with many others who state the Ottoman Invasion of Austria is foolish and they have no claim to Cristian Europe.

I am surprised that the Czar himself did not think to ask me about this when he saw my armies on the border, considering we are steadfast allies. For now, I will keep the land, but I will be happy to sell it to the Czar at a low price, if and when he consults me on the matter. I have found it to be full of Orthodox Christians and more trouble than it is worth to control, anyway.

In the meantime, I would ask the Swedish King to stop blocking Danish waters with his ships.

We hope that their goal of peace and stability in northern Europe is successful, but Portugal has no affiliation with any of the other member nations, we are simply maintaining the close relations that have existed between England and Portugal throughout the centuries.

Yep I already ceded it over to Transylvania. If you want a port on the Black Sea, ask either Russia or Transylvania if they don't mind you taking part of the Crimea or Moldavia.

I would also like to say, if any one is caught sailing through the Bosporus without my permission I will cancel all friendly agreements as I assume you are trying to take Istanbul.
