What setting up? I didn't do anything.
EDIT: It appears I did do something, in that I made a contract which was ignored by other participants, and that I have inadvertently broken a separate deal between two third parties.

    Huh.

    Yeah, keep thinking that.

Got to admit, Surprised by the good move by the Ottomans. Thought for sure you would have tried to counter attack this round. Instead you set up a defensive position and probably set it up with all the troops you can. Gonna be a long war off in the east. Either Austria builds siege artillery or he leaves that area in your hands.

I like the events, mostly because I only have 3 merc's sitting around. Forcing us to go professional I see.

The talk of war between France and the Netherlands and Saxony is surely an exaggeration! South Germany belongs to those who won control of it, that is all I have to say on the matter, although if you all decide to talk about it I do not want to interfere. Other than that I have little to say....

Meh, I wish someone would want to talk with me..... I am so lonely here on my island. Where is MY diplomatic talks that walk on a the razors edge. I just get to mediate for other nations, and nobody likes me. I think I am going to go oppress my colonies. That always makes me feel better. Then I am going to go commission another 10 SOL's for the royal navy, That will show you all. How I am not sure, but it is going to show you something. If you can not already guess I put IC announcements in Italic. Don't take anything else seriously.

Really? I hear you two are working things out like buddies. Although yeah, if war breaks out then the Western fleet will be there to stop any troop movements you are thinking of making through the Atlantic. You may have to recreate the Spanish road.

Believe me, The western fleet can take care of any ragtag transport groups you throw together. not to brag.

Uhhhhh, both of us? Plus even with 30000 income you have 6 orders. That is the clincher ain't it? We both have exactly the same potential production per turn when it comes to naval units. You can round up all the Mercs you want, but when my SOL's sink your fleet you are still boned. and Unlike you, I do not have to split my efforts on multiple fronts. I am an island nation, my navy is my lifeblood (bit of a exaggeration, but close enough). You.... Have a lot of hostile neighbors.

I am not going to say I am some kind of defensive god, and I could not be eliminated due to a war with you, but alone I doubt you could take me, if I planned well.

Working with the Spanish is folly while they oppress our people and hold claimant to our lands. How dare you imply otherwise.

france please refrain from entering my proxy lands as these will become mine as of next turn. Bohemia has no right to those lands besides those which he makes up. You are trying to be belligerent and while i am a patient man, i do NOT tolerate pugnacity for unlimited sections of time.

    Um.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederi...ector_Palatine

    Frederick V (August 26, 1596 – November 29, 1632) was Elector Palatine (1610–23), and, as Frederick I , King of Bohemia (1619–20)

So essentially, he has a legal right to it, whilst you have something called "nationalism" (What is that, some kind of cake?)
france please refrain from entering my proxy lands as these will become mine as of next turn.
I do not recognise any third party dealings, of which I have no proof that they even exist, to supersede a public declaration at the start of the Glorious Swiss Obliteration War to return the lands of the Palatinate to the Elector Palatine. Do not take this personally, but I have my and the King of Boehmia's honour to think about. If Switzerland has sold you those lands, I would be happy to reimburse you for those lands, as a victim of a sneaky Swiss banking trick.

Yeah pretty much. I'm saying you should make a fort in the middle of England and name it Nottingham. It may not be historical, but it sure would kick ass.

Not yet, but the longer you wait the more of your lands they take, the less income you get, and the less troops you can recruit to fight back against them. Kind of like a vicious cycle...

You better hope the network of allies you've undoubtedly strung together shows up in time!

    Land?

I would not measure the success of a war in land, but in whose head lies motionless, cold, and disembodied on the ground when the day is done.

When that is done, then you may count the land.
