Why the rooster anyway? To me its rather linked to the Gauls for an obvious reason.

Visarion, we won't be including the ceremonial silver and gold helmets on units, as they were most likely, as I wrote, ceremonial and only ceremonial. however, they do offer helpful iconographic aids for the Getai. On the several such helmets, we see helpful artistic motifs and several representations of armored Getic warriors. As for the last of the helmets you posted, that particular one has kinda puzzled me. I wonder whether the reconstruction is faulty. The pieces seem related to other Daco-Getic helmets and helmet fragments, but it is an odd looking piece of armor that doesn't quite match the others. Maybe MeinPanzer will see this and offer his thoughts.
