Default Can we specify succesors of king in EB2?

For I heard that it's impossible to name crown prince in M2TW, so I fear I cannot do that in EB2 either.
Can EB2 creators solve this problem? I believe it's rather important.
Sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched the forum and didn't find it.

No, we have found no way of solving this so that you can choose an heir as you did in RTW. This has been asked before.

We are looking into ways of adding some limited choice, however this could only ever be a one time only affair and never more so. The success of this (both in implementation and play) has yet to be tested, so we cannot really go into more detail.

    Thanks for the reply.
It's a pity, but maybe not so bad.
For the old kings were not always able to appoint successors as they wish, neither should the players maybe.
But is it possible to add some uncertainty into the succession of throne? I believe the system of M2TW makes the oldest son of current king as supposed successor by default, as in history. But supposed successors didn't always became king at last. Can we implement some script to check the popularity and power of every son of late king when he dies, if the oldest son of the late king is too weak compared to some of his younger brother, then there is some chance of him getting murdered, maybe together with several other brothers, and leave the crown to the most powerful prince?
This will make the players carefully arrange what will happen after the current king's death when he's getting old.

The game makes the general with the most influence the heir when a new faction leader is made (ie the old one died and the old heir becomes the new faction leader).

So a 'Prospective Heir-to-be' ancillary with +4 influence might just do the trick, hm?

I don't think it is essentially to implement this in eb. The med2 engine doesn't allow this, and the ways to allow this could only be limited or worst. The wiser solution is to let the med2 system of heir.
Tom implement this feature we have to add a new button in the interface ; I don't know if it's possible. But the script also exist ; the only matter is to add a activ button.
