I think you need to join the gameroom group (Not the social group, just the group) before she can post there. And approves by a mod.

Nope.

You can get acces to the Gameroom as a Junior member.

Just go to you your UserCP -> group memberships (or follow this link) -> check the box next to "Gameroom" to request acces.
