I GIVE UP!
why cant you use my idea to introduce turn sleeping as well for example.
1. Move to a room. clear room
2. sleep group 1
3. move to room sleep group 2
etc.....
we dont get bogged down or encircled, play the nomad game.

We'd surely run out of food. Not trying to bring you down, but I like living. Even if I am a girl apparently.
we move to rooms like the kitchen storeroom, etc. looking for more food. and how do you propose we resupply with either of the other plans?
Raindrops don't hurt (unless frozen) but sheets of water can break necks.
Use a bottle neck idea, travel in a small pack of two or three to investigate a room, when it is clear all enter it and fight off the rest from the door that may be following or that may find you all after clearing and entering the room. This way new food can be found, and you can rest when its needed. You have 30 hours until you all starve, 5 turns, I suggest getting a move on it.
Also, you haven't explored several rooms, I personally like Stilldawn's idea. A lounge typically is a place of living and there is usually snacks/food there, then the deck looking thing would be a perfect place for 300 the Hostiles without getting flanked, unless the Hostiles can climb buildings.
Edit: Just in case it wasn't clear, send a small group to investigate a room, once it is clear send a messenger back, then bring the entire group.![]()

Okay, my thoughts on the matter.
No.1: The hostiles aren't a very stupid lot, they don't flock like sheep to our fire, we actually have to be more proactive. As an example, Atheotes was killed early this game, because our orders didn't include cover the vanguard, it was vanguard cover the rear, but if he failed, what happened?
Basically, the "hostiles", host controlled I believe, are smart, take advantage of weak points in our situation, and even formation, which is why I believe CDf's idea will not work.
Our current stand is to survive as a group, but that means that we don't just play the hero and rush out as if suddenly with guns, we're superheroes. We have a slight edge only, and that is range, but what happens when we lose our range advantage?
No.2: Our supplies are finite, they will eventually run out, and wear and tear and repeated assaults will eventually bring us down, slowly, but surely. This is why Pizza's idea of simply camping is not exactly the best.
We have only 5 rounds to expand, we cannot hope to hunker down in a fortified location forever, we need to use our remaining supplies proactively to improve our situation.
No.3: We need to continue our previous running around and doing stuff to improve our lot, more keys and clues wouldn't hurt either. Guns don't change anything from our game, merely our combat orders.
In Essence: We just need to keep moving around and staying safe, and alternating destinations, and sleeping and exploration.
Our exploration groups are more well armed, hence we can afford to send them out with hope for less casualties now, if things hold the way they are. We can't be complacent, we may have guns, but who knows what the hostiles have now?
There is no reason to make a last stand while we try and escape, or in a do-or-die situation.
Life goes on in this mansion, we just need to stay together and work as a team, if we just keep being proactive, things will look up for us again
As a suggestion, I suppose we could head to locations that were populated by hostiles in the beginning. Whilst it is possible that the host random.orgs hostile location in accordance to our destinations, it is also possible they are set pieces meant to guard items, like the store room had many hostiles, and turned out to have excellent loot.
Thoughts?

Soooo...... Pesticides, big explosion?
Zain, I am dividing the food as DIY suggested, 5 to each person and two left over as reserve. I will get to my own personal orders soon. Have to go now.

Micheal D'Anjou
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So what's the destination for the turn?
Split up and explore more, or hunker down and be more conservative, sending fewer teams?
Edit: Seems like nothing is happening until I'm long gone... just a note, I hope that CDf or someone will be able to take over my orders for the next order phase. Additionally, CDf, please send a location order for my character to Zain, once a consensus on our moves in this phase has been reached. I'm sending you the circumstantial orders, as well as Zain, so please, feel free to modify it along with my movement target for the turn, after all, its just a template.
@Zain: I hope that someone is allowed to just give me location orders or something, because I am unable to be doing that...

I just wanted to let everyone know there is a set number of Hostiles. But the number will remain a mystery.
