Firstly thanks for all the congrats.
Secondly, there is some good advice here. I'm leaning towards going on a weekendtrip to Paris or Amsterdam (Belgium center of Europe FTW), going out to dinner in a good restaurant and popping the question just before desert.
The DVD proposal sounds like a great idea but knowing myself and my partner, it would propably turn out hilarious instead of touching. I already hav a hilarious/embaressing story of how we hit it off, noneed to make a similar one.
I'm 26, 27 in january (just like her). I was 16 when we started dating, that means college and university years (with some less comitted times).
Besides Unlike in America (or so I'm told) there is no pressure to leave the parental home as soon as convinient. In fact it's considered a good way to gather a nest egg for when you do.
Lastly I'm/was enjoying my youth as long as I could before comitting indefinatly.
Commendable? Probably not that much but it had it's merit.![]()

What's the surprise? Amsterdam is not without its charm. And we've done Paris just last year (it's actually not THAT romantic anyway).
If I had it entirely my way, I'd probably go to Prague or Krakow but +800km (X2) is just a bit to far for a weekend out.
Now if only you could suggest me a good restaurant.

Now that's really something to consider.
Thanks Frag
