    Default In Jupitors name, help!!!

First off, I love this mod very much! but... my problem is very strange.

I'm trying to play EB v1.1, would prefer getting 1.2 installed successfully, but right now that isn't the issue.

I go through the motions, such as installing a fresh copy of RTW; installing 1.3 then 1.5.

Then I go to download the EB install file. It takes about 30 mins (was at work so, hey.. waiting's not so bad when you're getting paid also)

So after having excitement fits, the file is finished D/Ling and I, of course, run it.......

    then BOOM CRASH KA-BLOWWW

my PC locks up and everything just gets bogged down until I have to manually shut the machine down and try again, with no luck mind you or else I wouldn't be posting an inquiry on here.

I then uninstalled/reinstalled all of RTW and EB and to no avail, I am still without my EB fix.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Please

    -Vemnus

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

    Then sorry, I don't know.

Perhaps it was vista's "security" setting messing up?

ah hmm well thanks for replying anyway.

You might be correct, it gets stuck on that part where it needs permission to continue.

that pop up never comes and the whole thing dies.

As the UAC loads every file first and asks then for authorization it takes long to open the 800MB of EB, even with my machine I have to wait 3 minutes. If you have to wait more then ten minutes, there is something going wrong.
As you are running Vista, keep both the installer and the install-location out of "Program Files". Install RTW and EB better in sth like "C:\GamesRTW

Otherwise you could disable the UAC in the time of the installation progress, remember to activate it later, it is there for a reason!

If both ways do not work, first redownload the installer (best with torrent) and if that does not help, run a virus scan, maybe sth blocks your exe's.
