    Hey guys,

Just a head's up that the latest issue of Archaeology Magazine features an article on exploring and digging up some of the wrecks of the Mongol invasion fleet that had attacked Japan in the 13th century.

It's unfortunately short and doesn't go into excessive detail, but the article does talk about the discovery of tetsuhau or explosive bombs that were most likely launched via catapult devices (or, in the Total War universe, our little Thunder Bombers). This gives credence to Japanese artwork that shows its devastating effects (some historians often considered it exaggeration to increase the myth of the events).

You can either pick up a copy of the magazine or just head over to http://www.archaeology.org/magazine....1/etc/kamikaze to read it off their official site.
