    @ Sheogorath

    Thanks for the info!

The problem with the AI is there is no script editor.

Just like we have no map editor, so map changes and new regions are currently a no go as well.

Is there any mods similar to Lusted's Lands to Conquer mod for M2:TW. Basically a bunch of minor tweaks (as well as animation fixes) here and there to MASSIVELY (IMHO) improve gameplay making the WAAAAY more fun than stock. Hell i still fire up LTC every once in a while to get my medieval fighting fix in.

Empire Realism looked promising, and I really liked some of the stuff they were doing with the artillery (changing guns to 4lbs, 8lbs, incorporating the major artillery reforms of the age), but I am not happy with a few of the changes that seemed to make things less realistic (removed square, made the carronade frigate a double decker, etc.), so I am currently still sticking to vanilla.

Do keep in mind that these are not the only choice for mods - there are lots of minor mods in the Empire Mod Threads area of TWC.

    Isn’t that what I said?

Of course there are hundreds of minimods and faction unlockers. Some add units or change skins.

If you want to talk about them then please provide a link.

I've been meaning to play with Imeprial Splendor for some time, but time limitations demand it wait until Christmas holidays. Darthmod is really good, though.

Eh. Darthmod's unit sizes are way too big.

    I like TROM + Empire Optimizedhttp://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=281226.

TROM's diplomacy changes and stuff are really nice. In fact, I recently started conquering Germany as France and after demolishing Bavaria's army with a half-broken one of my own, they immediately offered to become my protectorate in return for peace.

Empire Optimized is a huge mod (~1.25 gigs unpacked), replacing lots of the unit textures or something...I don't know exactly how he does it. It cuts out a huge amount of lag-before I couldn't really use artillery because it murdered my framerate. Now I can bring all the explosives I want and I still have a high fps
