Your right, it is a Roman thing. I loaded the "greek" faction and it looked the same as the display that I admired.

But I only play as the Romans, :(.

I wish they had a better looking display....
Imo, the following "mod" is almost perfect:

Changing it's a fairly simple matter. Go into your EB/data/UI/ROMAN folder and rename the INTERFACE folder INTERFACE2. Then enter EB/data/UI/GREEK folder and copy the INTERFACE folder there over to EB/data/UI/ROMAN. You'll now have a Roman game with Greek UI. If you want to change it back, rename the interface folder you copied over from GREEK to ROMAN and then change the name of the original interface folder in ROMAN (The one that you renamed at the very beginning) back to INTERFACE. If done correctly, you'll get something like this:

Is that save game compatible? When you mod, when is it that you need to make copies in the sp backup folder? Like map.rwn or the others?

Also, if we did what was suggested above, wont that change all the "interface" of Roman pics to Greek pics? What if I only wanted to change the area that shows what buildings/armies are in a spot and the area with the end of turn button, the map area too, if that is different? I don't want to change anything else.

I don't know about save game compatability--it should be, but it might not be. I do think it is, though. I'll test it later.... There is nothing in the sp game backup to delete, nor is the map.rwm effected. The GUI's skin just isn't deep enough into the program for something like this to be required. It's really surface stuff. I've tested it--you merely need to change the relevant files. As for your last question, the ONLY things that this changes (assuming you do it correctly and only replace the interface folder) are the interfaces you see in my screenshot and the corresponding interfaces in the battle UI. Nothing else.
