And remember to get a firm, sticky connection between the CPU and the heatsink. A sweaty paste of thermal goop helps seal them, allowing heat to throb between the components. Don't press them together too hard, mind.
You are living in the past Lemur, these days the thermal goop is already on, ready to go whenever you are. This way there can't be any fumbling, just pure unadulterated fun.
