"The republicans will draft your kids, poison the air and water, take away your social security and burn down black churches if elected." Gawain of Orkney
There is so much delightful irony in just those two sentences. A BNP'er who supplies a dictator with the means to etnically cleanse Britons, with his evil EUSSR protesting just that.Lucas hit the headlines in May 2006 when he revealed that he was sending his gallows and £100,000 execution systems to countries such as Zimbabwe.
He said he stopped making them in July 2006 after the export of hangman's equipment was made illegal by an EU directive.
What's with the beard and his 'Amish' looks?
sure he's a nutcase who has broken the law so lock him up by all means, but forgive if i don't get all flustered about the man before i am convinced that he is part of an ideology that wages all out war against the citizens of the state as well as the non-military institutions that represent them.

The BNP is no good, but you realize that the 'explosives' could just be diesel for his tractor and fertilizer for his crops, right? And is there really a law against owning ammunition with "intent to endanger life"? How do they determine that? Is there any evidence he was actually planning on bombing or attacking someone? A bit of a stretch to call him a terrorist, isn't it?

Ja Mata, Tosa.
The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
I do not believe a true Briton would do such a thing. Maybe he was a convert used to discredit the BNP?
At the end of the day politics is just trash compared to the Gospel.
Lots of smear, little detail.
He's charged with suspicion of things:
What is the illegal weapon? Intent to endanger life? Any proof, or is the noose and BNP membership enough? They mention he's got a hangman's noose - is that also suspicious, and hence really should be a crime in itself?
I'd not charge a Muslim holding a Koran on suspicion of intent to endanger life which many passages clearly do. Based on the information given, I see no reason to charge this guy with more than an illegal firearm if he's got one.

Great title though
Why do I have the feeling that we'd be seeing different posts if this was about 'Ahmed Al-Mounir, radicalised extremist, member of an anti-democratic organisation, who wears a radical beard and traditional gown, who openly supports anti-Western regimes, who sells torture equipment to dictators, has been arrested for posession of stolen goods, possesion of illegal firearms, and explosives'.
Does the case of Hasan in Fort Hood not teach us to stop terrorists before they make good on their promises?
Meanwhile, meet Charlotte Lewis. She is a jailed animal rights terrorist, with a record of issuing death threats and threatening with terrorist acts.
All of which naturally made her an excellent candidate for the BNP:
http://lancasteruaf.blogspot.com/200...andidates.htmlBNP's Bob Bailey claims candidate's criminal past and death threats will win votes
The hypocrisy of the British National Party is legendary, as is the blatant insanity of many of its more prominent members, though we're finding it difficult to decide if Bob Bailey, the party's London organiser, is hypocritical, insane or just plain stupid. Or possibly a combination of the three.
Bailey was in the news a couple of days ago, referring to the BNP's candidate in the Waddon by-election next week and trying to boost her chances by taking the 'insanity' approach to politics. That is, to talk bollocks loudly enough to drown out the stupidity of what you're actually saying.
Apart from the usual extensive list of prominent members arrested for sexual assault and rape of children (are there BNP members who don't rape to get their kicks in?), the link has more information about other prominent terrorist members of the BNP. How about one member bombing a church school?

Shame it wasn't literal.
LOL, I actually know the people who write that blog in person.

At the time of writing, membership of the BNP is not a crime. I am sure there are members of the Labour Party and Conservative Party who are murderers and terrorists, so this is a tenuous link.
He does not support an anti-western regime - the BNP has an MEP for example although.
What were his promises exactly? Or does being a member of the BNP in itself mean you've as good as made threats?
The BNP is a nasty party who has taken the traditional Labour supporters since Labour has found backing them and their demands tends to bankrupt the country. Sadly, it'll be difficult to take their votes away directly so we're going to get partys that feed off their discontent emerging.
