I blame liberals, women, and communists.

Not in that order. Women should probably get the most blame.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Is that why my nipples are so sensitive?

But no, I liked playing with GI Joes. The fact that they were naked doesn't mean anything...right?

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Not to mention; more women for the rest of us.

I say we should aim for around 98% gay males. That way, Angelina Jolie would be forced to beg the worlds fattest anti-social computernerd for some action.

There is nothing wrong in males playing with "female toys" unless you are sexist.

If a male child wants to play with the kitchen set, why is that really a bad thing? All the top celebrity cooks are bascially all males anyway, are you trying to say they are all homosexual? Also, what is wrong with a male playing with barbie and ken and exploring relationships with the two dolls? Are they only meant to play with action men killing eachother?

It is more to do with social environment and attitudes than just because some one wanted PVC flooring.

i was always a big fan of my easy bake oven, though more because i like eating.........

it depends on the age of the child, how they are playing, how much of their time is spent with said toys, and how intent they are on playing with feminine toys

Yes, we are meant to learn how to kill each other. Understanding the opposite sex is supposed to be a mystery to us. We can't jeopardize that by having young boys potentially learning about relationships (other than spotter, sniper, pointman, wingman, etc) via Ken and Barbie and applying that learning to their future girlfriends/wives.

We should be left thinking this of our future spouses: "If only she knew how to lay down a good covering fire...sigh."

What we perceive to be masculine and feminine toys are merely constructs of our culture to make children adapt to social norms. It's not as if colours can be gender specific, as for a long time, pink was a boy's colour (Due to it's "radical" nature), and blue (the colour of the Virgin Mary) was the colour of girls.
Are Barbies and Action Men really that different? Sorry Comic Book Guy, but they're both dolls, intended to simulate relationships and social situations, independent of whether they have a ponytail or a crew cut. The idea that trace amounts of some chemicals found in the manufacturing of plastics is turning boys into girls (Which is what this article, from the otherwise respectable BBC, implies) as some boys play with "girl's" toys is preposterous, and is bad science and bad journalism.

Indeed, it used to be pink for boys and blue for girls. As blue was seem as virgin mary, an innocent and calm colour.

Looks like me and you are on the same page. It is bad science and bad journalism.

Yes well, why don't you take some estrogen pills then, like transexuals do? Nothing wrong with that, lets feed them to children.

It is more to do with social environment and attitudes than just because some one wanted PVC flooring.
The study was attempting to show a correlation between the plastics and the behavior. They didn't just say "well more boys are playing with dolls, must be this chemical". The article also doesn't post the percentage increase, which leads me to believe that it is 4.2 percent or something.

    ?

What does that have to do with anything? It is something completely different. A social construct is not the same as taking pills to grow breasts.

The only way to ensure your child boy grows up manly is to only let him play with toys made of various animal scrotums

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

    No, it actually said
Chemicals in plastics alter the brains of baby boys, making them "more feminine", say US researchers.
Which is even more direct than what you said.

Apparently, the one for us adult males to stay away from is BPA.
    http://abcnews.go.com/Health/MensHea...ory?id=9048200
While environmental groups have sounded the alarm about the presence of bisphenol-A, or BPA, in products such as infant formula, baby bottles and other plastics, a new study provides some of the first evidence that the chemical can be harmful to humans, linking it to sexual dysfunction in men in high doses.
I remember reading a while back about the high levels of estrogen/progestin in the water supply from birth control pills. Basically, men are all just turning into .
