    so using the pistol as an example, if you have a pistol and you enter combat; for that phase you can only shoot 1 bullet max. after your magazine runs out of bullets (10 shots), you cannot attack in the next phase as you will be reloading your gun. the phase after reloading everything returns to normal.

    As for other guns (i assume there to be assault rifles and such) the number of bullets you can fire depends on your gun's speed. if it says 5 then you can shoot 5 bullets in one phase.
    This is not quite correct, You are mixing up the terms phase and combat rounds.

    Phase refers to the 15 min blocks that we perform our actions in.
    Combat round refers to each round of combat in which an attack is made and dice rolled to calculate hit, miss, damage etc.

    Theoretically if a pistol has a 10 round clip and fires 1 bullet per combat round, it is possible to use up all the bullets in the clip during a phase. Though it is most probable that combat will not last 10 rounds as someone would have died or ran away well before then imo.
